I have to confess
I've lost track of Jeremy
The exciting days of Linsanity
Is now just a faded memory
Consigned to a few glorious youtube videos
Of dates some time ago

I must admit
I was caught up in it
When you, Jeremy was shooting hoops
During your time with the New York Knicks
Those were the days
That left many of us Asians in a giddy daze
Though I'm five feet three, I certainly felt way taller

But life goes on
As yours does too
I'm sure you're doing well, pursuing your goals
But so am I too, ever since Linsanity turned cold
No offence meant in what I write
I guess I'm not the total basketball type

Sure, I wish you get your magic groove back
And may your youtube videos get millions of clicks
But thanks all the same for the sizzling heat
