Heaven
Heaven. I wonder how it's like.
Most rush through life, breathless
Barely pausing long enough
To look up
Failing to see
The subtle nocturnal shifts of the constellations
Born from dust, to dust we return
So earthly are we
Bonded to the soil of life
Out of touch, out of reach
Out of mind.
Heaven. Few thinks of you
Far in between are those to be found
Ones who ponder the heavenly bodies
Such galaxy gazers wonder in awe ...
Surely there must be a wise Creator
Heaven, and heavens, His masterpiece
Heaven. Quietly eyes lifted towards the vast expanse
Of planets and worlds unknown
I worship my God, maker of the universe
Joyous contentment streams in
A heart brimming and glowing
How great my God of the heavens!
Wow! Ps, r u going into poetry? hehe

Hi Lister, Yes! It's a funny thing. I did not set out to pen the thoughts of my heart as poems. But it just came out as I put my thoughts and emotions into words. Probably I've broken many rules about how to write poetry! Cheers!
