Challenge your mind

Challenge your mind from time to time
Sometimes we get used to certain routines
Which is good as some sort of disciplined habits
But dangerous when we mindlessly do the repeats
Dangerous not to the physical self but rather to the inner self
For over time, we accept our way of life, our self-established limits
And these invisible boundaries bind and squeeze like creeping plants spreading their turf
It constricts and crushes the very person on the inside till you give up the fight
And live lives just as similar as everyone else, doing the paper chase, getting stuck in the highway jam, like cans of sardines on the shelves

So wake up, and break out

Shake loose the cobwebs in the brain
Switch off the TV, and get off your couch
Go out, relax and get soaked in the rain
Do what you have not done for a long time
Or better still, do what you have never done before
Like watching the stars on a lonely hill
Or screaming your lungs out on a stormy shore

Maybe it is as simple as leaving your car at home and jogging all the way to work

It might not be as impossible as your mind thinks
The possibilities are all there, they're just hovering in the air
It's up to you to pop the bubbles if you dare
And see what happens when you follow a new way
