Robin
Dear Robin, I'm gonna miss you
For the years you filled my life with zany laughters
From Mork & Mindy to Good Morning Vietnam
And amazingly magical you were as Peter Pan
And the bluish genie in Alladin's lamp!
I sort of grew up with you
It began with you as that funny alien
From that TV series I knew
You have a funny bone and a big big heart
And when you were Patch Adams
Love and humanity spoke loud
Like a joyous cloud
Patching hearts in the movie crowd
When MJ died, I felt a rip in my heart
Irreparably damaged feeling a loss
Of what defined my childhood
And now you died and did the same
A loss I felt even as I enter my forty-seventh year
But there's one thing clear
Thank you for the memories my friend
