Here Comes The Rain Again

Nature's way of refreshing the land

Comes in cycles and waves

In the equatorial landscape

Late into the afternoon

After a morning full of bright, blazing sun

The whole air takes a turn

Dim the lights, crackling lighting and booming thunder

The breeze picks up, as if anticipating the full unleashing of rain's awakening

Moist air dancing, flowing through the foliage

Trees swaying in joy and excitement, waiting for rain's arrival

In the distance the veil is released

Drawn across the land

Heat giving way to cool relief

Here comes the rain again
